Praful K. Thakkar, an Indian Administrative Service Officer, was with the Government of Gujarat, India for more than 30 years and has retired as the Secretary to the Government of Gujarat. He has been an ardent collector of autographs and Numismatic & para-numismatic items for more than 40 years.

He is a seasoned collector of Indian coins, medals, tokens, badges, weights, passes etc. too. To present this subject in its proper perspective, he has launched another website www.indiannumismatics.com with a motto of ‘Pleasure for you - Treasure for Family’. This is a Gallery of Indian Numismatics & Para-numismatics items.

To preserve classic heritage of Indian Culture for the posterity, he has established the Thakkar Numismatic and Art Foundation. The foundation does all its activities with the motto of ‘Share the Knowledge-Spread the Knowledge’.

To give thematic dimension to the hobby of Autograph collection, he has prepared this website www.indianautographs.com which is a Gallery of Indian/World Autographs presenting more than 4300 autographs in 60 thematic categories. For him this ‘Hobby is for Health & Hobby is for Happiness’.

With reverence, respect and gratitude, autographs of Indian/World Celebrities, who have made landmark in their respective fields of art, technology, music, service etc., are presented here. This Website is a humble effort to salute the honorable achievements of these celebrities.
